The Sanibel and Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce offer a variety of networking opportunities to help its members promote and develop their business.
Networking: Chamber Business Lunch
Held the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 11:30 am until 1 pm. The Chamber member lunch is catered. Speakers are invited to discuss relevant business issues facing our members and key topics of interest in today’s business market. We strongly encourage everyone to register in advance. This will not only assist the Chamber but it will allow the host to properly prepare for all guests. This Chamber event is for Chamber Members and their guests.
PLEASE NOTE: The Chamber will no longer invoice individuals or businesses for Business Lunch admission. You must pay in advance or at the door. Cancellations must be 24 hours prior to the event to avoid a $10.00 cancellation fee.
Members have the opportunity to Sponsor a Business Lunch. As a sponsor you receive several minutes at the podium to enlighten the audience about your business. You may also place ‘fliers’ at the lunch tables, and you receive complementary entry to the lunch for 3 people. Networking: Chamber After Hours
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce After Hours is a monthly networking opportunity held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at various member locations. Hors d’ oeuvres and refreshments are served. Members and their guest only please.We strongly encourage everyone to register in advance. This will not only assist the Chamber but it will allow the host to properly prepare for all guests. Many of these events get sold out because of space limitations.

PLEASE NOTE: This program does not provide emails and the Chamber does not give out emails lists. Members are responsible for collecting their own email addresses.

Chamber Health Insurance – Roadmap to Health
During its long history, the Sanibel–Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce has always sought quality programs for our members. Chamber members have long requested that we provide a Comprehensive Health Benefits Program. We are proud to announce that The Road Map Health Plan is now available and effectively deals with the voiced Chamber members’ concerns:
- Affordability
- Protection from huge future rate increases
- Lack of flexible employee benefit options
- Lack of Portability, i.e., limited options for employees if they quit, are fired, or retire before age 65.
- Limited options for employees who are working beyond age 65
- Rising unemployment insurance costs due to employee turnover
